The site

This site describes the Speak Local platform and lets you create an account and subscribe to it. Descriptions of features, scoring, and integrations reflect the product as it stands and may change as it develops.

Accounts and subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled at any time, which stops the next renewal; charges already made are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. Prices shown on this site are the prices in effect at the time of purchase and may change with notice.

Managed services

We also sell work on your website as a service: a one-time Website Tune-Up and a monthly Managed plan, each for one website. What each includes is described on the managed service page as it stands when you buy.

Website Tune-Up. Paid once, in advance. You can cancel for a full refund at any time before we start work.

Managed. Billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time, from the billing portal or by emailing us. Billing stops at the end of the month you have paid for, and charges already made are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Your accounts. Your website, domain and Google Business Profile stay yours, and you can withdraw the access you give us at any time. We publish nothing your customers will read without your approval.

Results. Search engines and AI assistants decide for themselves what they show and recommend, and their answers change. We don’t guarantee rankings, mentions in AI answers, traffic or leads; we commit to doing the work described.

The included plan. A Website Tune-Up includes one month of the Local plan, and Managed includes the Local plan for as long as it continues. Each ends when its included period ends.

Agencies. Work for agencies is quoted per client and follows the quote we agree.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the site: no scraping of personal information, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no submitting information you don’t have the right to share.

Intellectual property

The Speak Local name, logo, and site content are our property. You may not use them without permission, except as allowed by law.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site to the fullest extent permitted by law.
