Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
We want speaklocal.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Conformance status
We measure this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. speaklocal.com has not yet completed a formal conformance assessment, so we make no conformance claim yet — this section will record the standard, the date, and the result when a full assessment is done.
How this site was evaluated
Self-evaluation by the Speak Local team: automated accessibility checks plus manual keyboard-navigation and reduced-motion spot checks. No external audit has been carried out yet.
Known limitations
- Decorative background animations play for visitors whose system does not set a reduced-motion preference. The accessibility panel’s Reduce motion control stops them.
- No full audit has been completed, so issues we have not catalogued may exist. If you hit one, please tell us — reports genuinely help.
Display and reading options
This site offers controls to adjust text size, increase contrast, reduce motion, and switch to a more legible typeface. Your choices are stored on your own device.
These controls change how the site presents for you. They do not alter the site’s underlying content or replace the accessibility work described above.
Feedback
If you find something on this site you cannot use, please tell us at [email protected]. Describe the page and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days and will tell you what we intend to do.
